Mary (Cherokee) White

First Council Member Cherokee White was seriously injured in a recent car-bus accident in Fairbanks on Feb.23^rd.

She suffered severe burns as a result of the accident and resulting fire and is currently in the ICU at HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER in Seattle.

Cherokee is a traditional regaled dancer and has been one of MSIP’s strongest supporters since the inception of the Midnight Sun Powwow.

A number of fund-raisers to support the family are being planned in the Fairbanks area-a spaghetti feed is scheduled for Mar. 28 in North Pole. More information will be available.
