Little Red Squirrels
Little Red Beauties
Couldn’t sleep this evening and was watching the flyers on the cam. But the little Reds were also active in the evenings this time of the year. They are so pretty but so aggressive towards each other. Nonetheless, what a subject they have made for me to photograph. Now, since we may be traveling around the country, I’ll have to break out into other subjects. It will be a good change forcing me to take different pictures in different ways. Hopefully, I’ll get lucky enough to capture a few good ones.
Young Squirrels
Youngsters on the Feeder
Saw this very young female squirrel on the feeder. Youngest I’ve seen this spring. Speaking of youngsters, the oldest daughter and grand children depart this morning for their new home in Wasilla Alaska. It’s going to be harder on Grandma than me, being it’s a long way to travel to see the grandkids or the oldest. Life changes and we are changing ourselves just as the new generation begins life here on the old Permafrost Ranch. I’m going to miss seeing those kids as often as we have with them living here.
