Flowers and Clover
Flowers in the clover, very small flowers they may be but very very pretty. I’m sitting here typing this at 5:48 in the morning. Outside the window here in Colonia Del Rey RV Park in Flower Bluff. The crickets are just singing away. You can hear the traffic from the street increasing as people begin their day going off to work. It’s so strange to hear these insects at this time of the year, chirping away outside. All those years in Alaska made one forget what music it really is to hear crickets in the grass.

Sex Starved Frog Creek
Living in Alaska, the sounds of the night are so different from the Lower 48. Even in the lower 48 the differences we have come across between areas is dramatic. The RV park in Oakhurst sat above this stream, it was full of sex starved horny frogs. All the males were trying to out croak the other to attract those females I suppose. It sure was a chorus of sound that we have missed.

Childhood Memories

Color and pattern, caught my eye. This park has children, a man and his daughter out playing catch with a little foam football. Younger children running around laughing in the sun blowing bubbles on the breeze. Life is fun to watch.
