It was -27 degrees on the old Permafrost Ranch in North Pole, Alaska. Where we use to live, but just like this lizard, I was soaking up the sunshine down here in New Mexico. I’m so glad.
These little squirrels remind me very much of the red squirrels in Alaska. After taking this shot, it reminded me oh so much of another little squirrel named Bubba. The weather here is also very similar to Alaskan weather at times. Here is to Bubba, he is missed.
