I’ve had several females visiting the feeder for some of that sweet syrup.

No Capture Folks

This injured raptor flew away but I’m worried about his survival.  He’s injured badly from the looks of it and I called the rescue folks down by Palm Springs.  They had no one in this area that could capture the injured bird anyway.  They need some one like the Bird Learning and Treatment Center in Anchorage

Wounded

This Raptor has been injured badly.  He let me walk right up to him.  He sat there quite the while before flying off.  I called the bird rescue folks but they didn’t answer or have they returned my message.

I hope the bird survives his injuries.  He was magnificent anyway.  Update:  The rescue people called back this morning.  They are down below by Palm Springs and have no capture folks here.
