There was this strange cloud formation this morning.

Yesterday morning was a delight but today the Santa Ana Winds here in Southern California and the high desert are whipping it up.

A burning sunrise so hot it set the tree on fire.

The sunrise yesterday reminded me of the painted desert with it’s colors.

Sunrise yesterday was nice.  Where we are here at the RV Park isn’t good for sunrises and sunsets.  The sunrise is easier but sunsets are not so easy to photograph from the space we are in.

This mornings sunrise was on fire.

I’m listening to the weather  in south Texas from the television.  The weather man said “it’s a chilly 58 degrees.”   I break out into a huge belly laugh.  Turn to Debbie and say “58 degrees and sunshine is summer in Alaska.”  I guess  it is a matter of perspective.

Awoke this morning to this sunrise.  There is something in the light that makes New Mexico so special.

I’m sitting here this morning in the RV with the sun streaming through the window.  The air conditioner is already working overtime and as soon as that sun rose, the temperatures started to rise.  It’s going to be another hot one here in the Valley of the Sun.   This is the hottest weather I think I’ve been in for over 40 years, even last fall in Texas, it wasn’t as hot as it is here in Arizona.  I’m not use to this extreme heat and haven’t really ventured out of the RV.  Even at night it’s down right warm outside and any effort to do anything makes you sweat.  I’m sure of one thing, after this visit I don’t believe I’ll spend any time here again specially during this time of the year.  It’s a learning experience trying to find that perfect spot.  There is so much to see and so many places to try finding that perfect area to spend time.
