01230908.jpg The Northern Flying Squirrel (Glaucomys sabrinus yukonensis) Glaucomys, is from the Greek glaukos (silver grey) and mys (mouse). Sabrinus is derived from the latin word sabrina (river-nymph) and refers to the squirrels habit of living near streams and rivers
