Couldn’t sleep this evening and was watching the flyers on the cam.  But the little Reds were also active in the evenings this time of the year.  They are so pretty but so aggressive towards each other.  Nonetheless, what a subject they have made for me to photograph.  Now, since we may be traveling around the country, I’ll have to break out into other subjects.  It will be a good change forcing me to take different pictures in different ways.  Hopefully, I’ll get lucky enough to capture a few good ones.

Summer and fresh water for the feeders is a supreme luxury for the Squirrels

Bubba’s summer time home, since Ruby has ran him out of his winter digs.

Poor old Bubba, wore to a nub from the fighting with Ruby.  Missing a part of his ear.  

Yummmy, but some viewers haven mentioned in the chat “where is the peanut butter dish”.  Its empty and we will fill it up as soon as we are able to go to the store and refill the larder.  Nonetheless, don’t worry the little fat bubba won’t starve.  lol 

I’ve been asked before, if I have named any of the flyers.  I usually say no, but this flyer has been on the feeder before.  I’ve named it and it’s “Split Ear”.   So, Squirrel Cam watchers, if you see him on the feeder, grab a screen capture of him and send to the the Squirrel Cam and I’ll blog it.

From the looks of Little Girl I would say she is pregnant for sure.  Babies squirrels in the yard this summer hopefully we will get to see them on the feeders.

Bubba’s keeps the snack bowl filled by the nest, incase he gets hungry in the middle of the night.
