Sharp Skinned Hawks
A very mature Sharp Shinned Hawk, I’ve seen several juveniles that I thought were mature but after seeing this bird. I now realize they were younger birds.

Saw a hmmuer yesterday morning. Last one seen, last year, was 9/20. I usually put up the feeders May 1st (a little early) and keep em up ’til 10/1 (a little late). I keep hoping to get the hmmuers a little earlier and a little later each year. As for the suet, I go with Tansey, it stays up all year.
