Coyote Howls
Awakened In The Night
It was around 3;45 AM this morning when I was awakened by the yapping and howling of a pack of coyotes. First time that has happened. They must have had something cornered over by the old golf course behind us. They sure were making a racket. So here I am. 4:30 in the AM and I’m wide awake.
I know that feeling well – wide awake in the wee hours.
Thank goodness for a hot cup of coffee right about then.
Yes, that’s the way to go and I do most of the time. Here lately I’ve been trying to hold of on the coffee until I’ve drank at least a cup of water or two.
Bob next time stick a 12 ga out the window & cut loose betcha that’ll shut’em the hell up
when they howl ALL night and into the next day..THEN I’d be concerned, this they DID preceding the Northridge Quake.
But that’s LOBO the trickster…playing playing… and perhaps under “tracking” f/local mountain lions. Lions often attack the Coyotes as they are in THEIR front “yards” of range_ that whole southern facing slope, behind ya there-AT abandoned golf course.
