Hot Summer
Female Humming Bird
It’s so hot even the little hummers are starting to look stressed and warm. Many of the little birds are panting with their beaks open to get some relief from the heat.

Poor things. When I worked I used to feed the sparrows that nested in the loading dock area and I always felt sorry for them when they panted in the heat.
