Humming Birds
Female Humming Bird
I’ve seen few females since we have been here. There was several upon our first arrival here in the RV Park but there was a long dry spell without the sighting of any females. The last few days have brought in several females visiting the feeder.

Maybe because the females were sitting on their nest ?
Hi Dequilter, Yes, I think your right. We came across a humming bird nest while we were in California. We knew where it was at and every time we were in that area we would check out the nest. Something must have preyed upon the nest because the last time we stopped to see if the eggs had hatched the nest was empty and abandoned from the looks of it. The nest was all torn up too.
