That is neat, Bob. I like the shadows of the arches mixed
with the linear lines of the bridge itself. Got it lined up
’bout as straight as anyone could have. Good eye!

I like the old bridges that makes a click a dee clack noise when you cross them

When our daughter was young and even into her teens and we would drive to Eucha, OK from DFW we would cross over several of these kinds of bridges. She would be terrified that they were going to fall with the weight of our truck or car and, Charles, she absolutely hated that click a dee clack sound. I think that was one reason she felt the bridge was going to go down. She would close her eyes tight so she couldn’t see the bridges and I would always hold my hands tightly over her ears. When she was little she would shed tears before, during and after the bridge. She finally out grew the tears but was still absolutely terrified of these old wooden bridges. Some of these bridges we crossed were only one lane and you had to wait if there was another car crossing.
Bob, I can’t tell if this is a two car passing bridge or only one lane for one car only. I love this picture though. Sure brings back lots of good memories.

munford, amazing memories thanks for sharing. It’s a one lane bridge and not being used for traffic. I just thought it was an amazing spot to take a picture. Me and the Chunky Monkey took a little hike to where we parked the truck to get to it.

Pootie said what I would have but I’ll add that I like the contrast of the colors of the trees and the rusty steel–plus the way the little path into the woods is inviting.
