It kinda looks as if she’s praying for some more nuts or she has a small piece of one left

What has Debbie named this beautiful girl?

Debbie, just calls her Little Girl. She has become a real regular drop by friend the last week or so. It’s been fun photographing her. What do you think of my photos?

  4. Debbie says:

    That’s just my little girl!!!!

I think your photos are just fantastic! I can see every little whisker and every little piece of fur. It looks like I ought to be able to reach into the picture to feed her a peanut myself, although I am sure I don’t have Debbie’s touch. I think my squirrels would be so much tamer with me if I didn’t let the poodle out when I go out to feed and talk to them. They come very close to me and will come when I call, but I don’t think they would let me touch them. I have several that will take a peanut from my hand when I hold it at the top of the stockade fence. They are on the other side and will take it when I offer it. I felt so sorry for my babies last week as we were in the 20’s and teens at night and only in the 30’s during the days. I put out feed on my patio that is right outside the patio doors and on the feeder as they were so hungry. Five little small squirrels came and all ate on the patio. They were small, young little squirrels. I told them they shouldn’t be that little at this time of the year. During the cold weather we had last week one day I counted 10 squirrels in my yard at one time. Some were on the feeder at the back fence, some were on the freezing grass and some were eating from the patio. That is the most squirrels I have ever counted eating here at one time. These little ones of mine need to eat a lot right now as even though it is suppose to be warmer this week it is still going to be right “nippy.”
