The Old Fishing Pier

I first came to Corpus Christi as a young teenager to live with my Aunt and Uncle.  I was having problems at home, we were living in Louisiana.  My grandfather worked here and ran the bait stand for the pier.  The years haven’t been nice to the old pier, it’s very run down now and looks almost unsafe with missing railings and walkway boards missing.   It isn’t in use anymore as a public fishing pier as far as I can tell.  It was locked and gated when I took this picture.  Still, it holds many a memory because I spent hours and hours upon it fishing.
