I don’t have a clue. Is it a wildflower or is it a decorative plant put in by the park folk? Is it a shrub? It’s very pretty with the clusters of rose-like flowers and the glossy leaves.

pppsssttt it’s a pretty yellow flower is all I know other then that I’m clueless

  3. Z from Chicago says:

I think I found it. If I’m right it is a rose. Rosa banksiae ‘Lutea’ which is also known as Lady Banks’ Rose.

It’s supposed to be a vigorous climber that can smother arbors and houses. It’s evergreen, thornless and has no scent.
