Awakened in the Night
Last night there was a whole slew of masked bandits at the feeder. One had even crawled up on the bike racks to reach the back table and seed storage bin. They were busily devouring all and everything they could find. Hungry little night time raiders.

Charles……refer back to my post on the “Chunky Monkey” post, please’. Databrokers, still waiting for your reply, also. How old, sorry, what age is “Chunky Monkey”?. I have 2 dachsys, one is 9 yrs old & the other is a rescue from a “puppy-mill” and she’s only 2 1/2 yrs old. Very smart…..but no training/social skills. But we’re doin’ ok. She has so much energy, now that she doesn’t live in an airline kennel and pop out puppies for a living (food). HELP! She doesn’t know that the dry dog food and the water dish’s are ALWAYS full (I’m a big believer in “free feeding”. Every dog I’ve ever “moved in”…..(.sounds nicer than rescued) had a hard time understanding. Sorry, I just had to VENT! If you can”t sign on for LIFE. don’t do it!!Well. anyway, me and ALL the critters who live with me will be OK and loved (and well fed) !
