These were taken by a friend of ours, Barbara Bandt, and husband Pete who have taken us Birding several times here in Corpus. She’s a great photographer if I do say so myself.

Great pictures. Almost as good as yours. The one among the flowers looks like it’s playing some kind of peek-a-boo game.
I’m surprised to see the herons in the surf as I’ve always thought of them as fresh-water birds.
You got your live camera back. I just glanced at it but no beasties are feeding.
