Great Blue Heron Day on the Beach
We saw more Great Blue Herons yesterday on the beach, there was many of them as we drove down Padre Island National Sea Shore. It’s 3:00 AM in the morning and I’m posting bird pictures. Nice time for my insomnia to kick in. Oh well, I suppose there will be plenty of time to sleep in the grave.

If you don’t have to get up and go to work in the morning, insomnia is fine. You get to post pictures and see the sunrise. And after a few nights you sleep for ten hours and catch up. Another thing you could do is join a forum that’s based on the other side of the world and amaze the other posters with what would be, to them, exotic stories of Alaska and Texas. Even simple things. After all, I was impressed by the snow scoop and I live in a snowy region! Can you imagine how someone in Australia would react?
There are herons that summer in Michigan and Wisconsin then move to where you’re living for the winter.
