Once they find good food, they spread the word bob. They are so fun to watch.

You’re getting better at taking pictures of the hummers. The wings can be seen in this shot. My brother lives in Michigan and has feeders outside of his screened porch. I’ve never been able to get a good picture.

    Great picture!

    (Hey, that’s a female!)

They will only keep coming and perhaps in droves. They start migrating south. September will be a very busy month on the feeders. My parents already have about 20 coming every day. Last year we counted 30+. They are very entertaining.

Last year when visiting my family in Texas we would set on their deck and watch the humming birds chase each other away from the feeder. Very entertaining. In the 2 1/2 weeks I was there my brother-in-law refilled the feeder several times. Guess they were hungry. The pictures you’re posting are beautiful. Saw a fox run across Hollowell the other morning when Elizabeth and I were waiting on the bus. Thought about the chickens you had.
