Oh my Gosh! What a wood pile that is! I sure hope you had a day of rest on Father’s Day. I bet your whole body is sore from cutting all this wood. If you aren’t careful this pile is going to cover your house. Take it easy and don’t over do. What has the temperature been like there while you have been doing all this work?
It is in the 3 digits here and the ten day forecast continues for over 100 degree weather each day.
Hubby and son saw two big hawks in our area today. Unable to identify them from any bird book I have or the web. Dark feathers, white heads and a white stripe going across their backs. They both said they were really big, but I can’t find any picture that matches that description at all. Hubby looked at my bird book and said they didn’t look like anything in there. I asked him if they might have been an owl or a falcon and got a dirty look with him saying, “Look, I know a hawk when I see one.” All squirrels are accounted for and were here today. Hope those hawks just fly on and leave my babes alone. How is Bubba?
