Day After Thanksgiving

I’m so bad… Guess what I had for breakfast this morning the day after Thanksgiving… Pie Apple, then a piece of Pumpkin and then a piece of Pecan. I’m so bad… And so fat.

Here’s a close up of one of my little flyers the frequents the feeder.

Aha! I found this “strange” looking animal and wondered what it was. The consensus was a flying squirrel. Just found your blog and the confirmation! Thanks so much for the squirrel cam. Its so fun to try to “catch” something in the cam.

Much appreciation for your North Pole cam! It’s enjoyed by our offspring in FL, CA, Okinawa, Iraq, and Juneau. Some of us check frequently each day. CA daughter spotted flying squirrel. Juneau daughter verified ID. Latter saw a magpie there within last couple of weekss.
We have more red polls, in Ester, than you, and frequent red squirrels! Will watch for flying squirrel.
    Thank you!
