Mag Pie Visitor

Here is a shot of a visitor to the feeder I had this morning. Stunning birds, I wish I could have gotten a close up, but they are so skittish that just the sight of me in the window runs them off.

    He’s beautiful!
Do you find more activity at the feeders now that winter’s coming?

No squirrels on squirrel chatter. Have they got their nests all lined?

No, it kind of slows down in winter , except for the regular squirrels that are in the yard. Many of the little song birds seem to go away except for the two chickadees that inhabit the area year round. The two times of the year that one sees increases are the early spring and early fall.

And to Quilldancer, they are busy stealing all the stuffing out of my a yard swing seat that we purchased a few years ago. It had a padded seat stuffed with a fiberfill synthetic fabric. They have tore it all up and stollen every bit of the padding and fabric they can get. Destructive little buggers. Nonetheless, I put up with them.
